Please contact us if you are interested in offering Kleo her forever home.
Kleo was acquired as a kitten by her previous owners and is now 10 months old, having been born on September 1st 2015. When she came into our care she was understandably very confused, upset and nervous and would hide away behind her bed. She’s still shy when she sees new people but once she knows you and thinks you can be trusted she will happily let you stroke her and will rub against your legs. It seems she wasn’t used to being picked up but she now lets her foster carer do this on occasions. In time, Kleo will very possibly grow to enjoy being picked up, although not all cats do like this, as she does like to cuddle in close to her human friend. She also waits to greet her foster carer with lots of big purrs and “moany meows”! Yes, Kleo has a strange little meow voice as it can sound a bit moany. Her foster mum says it makes her sound cross when she isn’t at all – it’s just one of her little foibles that an experienced cat owner will understand and take in their stride. Some patience will be required to help her settle when she’s moved and confused yet again, but that patience will be well rewarded by this lovely wee soul.
In her previous home, Kleo was an indoor cat only but we think she would really enjoy having access to a safe outdoor area once she gets well settled in a new home. She can certainly be homed with another cat as she was used to living with one before coming into our care and they seemed very fond of each other. Kleo had already been vaccinated and microchipped when we took her into our care She has also now been spayed.
