A number of the cats we picked up from the streets and took into our care in the summer of 2014 would have been kittens the previous Christmas. Such is the fate of far too many animals who are bought or otherwise acquired as Christmas presents and who then find themselves unwanted when the festivities are over. Percy may well have been such a Christmas Kitten. When he came to us, this adorable boy was severely underweight and had to have a few weeks of good feeding before being a healthy enough weight to undergo his neutereing op even although, at that point, he would have been about six or seven months old. He is now a fine, healthy, boy who thoroughly enjoys the company of both humans and other cats. Any scaredy-cat who runs away will have Percy running after him or her, though, but not for the purposes of beating-up. He just likes a good laugh. Percy seems to be enjoying the kittenhood he was probably denied when he was abandoned and is showing no signs of wanting to become a big, grown-up, boy.

Percy is such a playful, friendly, boy and would do well with a family that included children. Access to the outdoors for purposes of exploration and mischief once he’s settled would help make for a perfect home for little Percy.
