Misty, a domestic cat, had been hanging around a nursing home in Glasgow and was taken home by a member of staff when it became obvious that she was pregnant. Unfortunately, the elderly resident cat wasn’t overly impressed by this upstart wanting to share her home and that, together with another complication, meant a home would have to be found for poor Misty. The other complication arose when Misty went into labour and the people she was living with realised that she was having serious difficulties. She was taken to the PDSA vet where it was determined her kittens had all died inside her and Misty would have to have a full hysterectomy. It was after this that we had a call asking if we could take her.

Misty is a sweet little lady and is thoroughly enjoying sharing auntie Linda’s bedroom and getting very spoiled. I think you’ll agree she deserves a bit of spoiling , having been so let down by her original owners. Her inoculations are now in progress, the second set being due around the 8th December at which point hse’ll also bemicrochipped, and then Misty will be ready to go on to a Forever home with people who will appreciate and love her. She isn’t allowed out from her foster home but would love to find a home with a safe outdoor area to explore once she’s settled.
