Okay, so ‘Lofty’ isn’t the prettiest name for a wee girl but this came about because I mistakenly took Lofty to be a boy. My bad or, for the posher readers, Mea Culpa. Anyway, there did have to be a Lofty in this Casualty-themed naming process, and she got it! Lofty, like Dylan and Robin, is less shy than Max and Zoe – in fact, each day sees all of them less shy than they were. She’s a healthy, playful, kitten who loves to help create the mess that greets me most mornings. In fact, if they kept the shelters tidy I’d wonder what was wrong as that just wouldn’t be normal kitten behaviour! It would be lovely for all our kittens if they could be homed with a sibling or parent but, that not always being possible, it would be great if there was already a resident and (eventually!) welcoming cat already in the new home. Little Lofty is too young to be spayed yet but has been microchipped and fully vaccinated.
