In January this year, Bobby had been ‘surrendered’ to our vet by his owner and we got the call to ask if we could take him into our care. His owner had given him up because he would occasionally be sick although the vet could find nothing actually wrong with him. His mainly black coat was very dull and out of condition but that has all changed with nothing more than good food and care and he’s a fine, glossy, handsome boy! Bobby really is such an incredibly good-natured, playful, cat who has accepted the companionship of others in our care with no trouble whatsoever. He loves to snuggle up in bed beside his human foster mum and counts being cuddled as one of his many hobbies.
Although he can be guilty of gobbling his food much too quickly, Bobby is hardly ever sick now. It does happen occasionally, though, so a new person in his life would have to be fairly laid back about that. What he doesn’t need is to rejected again! This lovely, gentle, lad would fit in well with a family that included children and he’d just love to be able to go outside to play and explore once settled.
