Bassatt and her little siblings were born in the grounds of a factory in May this year. It was an awkward set-up so it took quite some time to round up members of the extended family for neutering but, eventually, Bassatt came into our care along with her mother Amber and three brothers and sister. Despite never having been handled before coming into care, almost from the start Bassatt has been an absolute charmer. She’s so sweet and gentle and especially loving when the Dreamies* are on offer! Understandably, Bassatt would be confused and a bit frightened in a new home situation for a while but not for long. One of her brothers, Jasper, has already gone on to hernew home and took hardly any time at all to settle into her new situation, which includes two big gentle mutts! Bassatt’s hobbies include helping to brush the floors of the shelters and organising all-night parties for her fellow inmates. Bassatt had a sore eye when her brothers and sister were being neutered but she’s fine now and will have her op very soon at which point she’ll also be microchipped and get her second vaccinations. She’d love a home with a garden to explore and maybe another cat to play with.
